WHO WE ARE

Who Are We?
We are ordinary people from all walks of life and ethinic backgrounds, who follow Jesus Christ and come together for the common purposes of encouraging one another and sharing the light of God's love and truth by serving others in our local community and around the world.

The Basics
The mission of Northgate Alliance Church (founded in 1932) is "to make disciples who make disciples who make a difference." We are a church of the Christian and Missionary Alliance, an evangelical, Christian denomination, founded in 1887 by A. B. Simpson. We desire to know Jesus Christ and to make Him known throughout the world as Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King, working together to complete His Great Commission.

Church Teachings/Doctrines
An essential teaching of our church is that Salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ for all people; and those who repent and believe in Him are born again of the Holy Spirit, receive the gift of eternal life, and become the children of God.

The Church consists of all those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, are redeemed through His blood, and are born again of the Holy Spirit. Christ is the Head of the Church, which has been commissioned by Him to go into all the world as a witness, preaching the gospel to all nations. The local church is a body of believers in Christ who are joined together for the worship of God, for edification through the Word of God, for prayer, fellowship, the proclamation of the gospel, and observance of the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord's Supper.
