YOUTH MINISTRY

Our Youth Ministry at Northgate is called the Salt Cellar (a reference to the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:13-16). We provide an environment for anyone in 6th through 12th grades to have fun, make friends, and most importantly, learn more about Jesus Christ. In addition to our weekly meeting and small group (described below), we schedule other exciting events throughout the year. So stay tuned!

Weekly Salt Cellar Meeting: Wednesday Nights
We meet every Wednesday night from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in our recently remodeled Salt Cellar at Northgate (the basement of the main church office). Our format each week consists of:

6:00 — “Hang Time” (fellowship)
6:30 — Games and Activities
7:00 — Lesson

Each week, we offer two lessons: one designed for the older students, and one for the younger students. Our lessons are interactive, and may include the use of video, drama, and/or music. We cap off each evening with snacks and some additional hang time.

Small Group: Sunday Nights
On Sunday nights we have small group meeting. These are designed for high school and college-aged students who want to get deeper and more personal in their faith. Small Group runs from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Each month we meet in a different home. Contact the Youth Leader (see below) for more information.

BE TRANSFORMED

We all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. (ESV)
